I have been receiving lately a common error report, the famous T_function parsing on line 15 in class.youtube.php. TubePress was written for PHP 5, assuming that most hosting companies should provide at least PHP 5 to its customers.
Well I was wrong about that. Unfortunately, a large number of hosting companies, most of them goes under the “Free Hosting” group are still providing old PHP versions on their servers.
I recommend mediatemple, dreamhost and ThinkHost but NOT GoDaddy!
Due to this reason and the latest changes in WordPress database structure, I have decided to release an update for my WordPress plugin. The update will include a complete rewrite of the plugin, to support new versions of WordPress, maintain backward compatibility and the code will be optimized for old PHP versions.
I would like to thank you all for testing the plugin, and reporting bugs.

Nutronic
Once you import a video from youtube, this should be saved as a normal post. You can check the manage -> posts section in your WP admin to see if the video was successfully imported. Note that the plugin requires PHP 5 and does not yet support WP higher than 2.2.2
Let me know if there is something else I can help you with

Excellent plugin which I use on two of my sites. However, it does come up with an error, although the plugin and results still work:
Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, object given in /xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/tubepress/youtube.php on line 247
Warning: gmdate() expects parameter 2 to be long, object given in /xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/tubepress/youtube.php on line 247
(xxxx inserted to mask the url I am using it on).
This error occurs on both sites (different hosting on both), latest wordpress installation. Feedback would be appreciated. I can provide further details if you are interested?
